The basics

About the game

Is Sockergo a betting app?

No. Sockergo is a social prediction platform. No money moves, no fee to play, and we're not a betting site. You call it between friends for the instinct alone.

How much does it cost to use Sockergo?

Nothing. Creating groups, inviting players, and calling matches is free. Always. No card. No fine print.

Does Sockergo give out prizes at the end of the tournament?

No. The prize is your group's respect. If you want to play for something internally, that's between you — Sockergo doesn't get involved and isn't responsible.

Which tournaments can I call?

The main event is the World Cup 2026. We also open groups for Champions League, Libertadores, Premier League, and other big leagues. Each group is created for a specific tournament.

Your crew

Groups

How many players fit in a group?

Up to 15 players per group on the Free plan (50 with Sockergo Pro). And you can be in as many groups as you want at the same time: one with family, another with friends, another with the office.

How do I invite people to my group?

Every group has a unique 6-character code and an invite link. Share it via WhatsApp, Instagram, or however you want. The player joins in 10 seconds.

Can I delete a group I created?

Yes, if you're the admin. From the group → settings → delete group. It's permanent: predictions and the group's leaderboard are erased. No going back.

Can I remove a player from the group?

As admin, you can deactivate a player from the group settings. They stop appearing in the leaderboard, but their prediction history is preserved.

Can I change the group's name or description?

Yes, the admin can edit the name and description anytime from the group settings.

Can I transfer my points from one group to another?

No. Each group is its own independent league. If you join late, you start from zero in that group. If you want to count prior points internally, coordinate it with the admin.

The play

Predictions

Until when can I call a match?

Up to 1 hour before kickoff. After that the match locks automatically. No last-minute calls.

Can I change my call?

Yes, as many times as you want — as long as the match isn't locked. Your last call before the deadline stays.

What happens if I don't call a match?

You get 0 points for that match. As we say: no call, no glory.

I called it but I don't see my prediction saved.

Sockergo doesn't delete predictions. First check that you saw the confirmation message when saving. If it still doesn't appear, sign out and back in. If it persists, email us at info@sockergo.com with the match ID.

Does extra time and penalties count in knockouts?

No. Your call is on the 90 regulation minutes plus stoppage time. If it's 1-1 at minute 90 and someone wins on penalties, whoever called 1-1 nailed the exact score.

When can I see other players' predictions?

Only after the match locks (1 hour before start). Before that, each player only sees their own. No copying.

How do matches from later stages appear?

Round of 16, quarters, semifinal, and final matches enable automatically once the brackets are known. You don't have to guess the qualifiers in advance: you call match by match.

The leaderboard

Points and leaderboard

How do you earn points?

SPOT ON (exact score): 6 points. RIGHT CALL (right winner and exact goal difference): 3 points. RIGHT WINNER (only winner or draw): 1 point. MISSED IT: 0 points.

Do knockouts pay more?

Yes. In the Round of 16, points double. In quarters, semis, third place, and final, they triple. A SPOT ON in the final is 18 points. Decisions weigh more when the tournament tightens.

What if two players end with the same points?

The first tiebreaker is who has more SPOT ON predictions. If still tied, whoever joined the group first wins. If you want more criteria, coordinate them internally.

Why do I show 0 points before the first match?

Because there's nothing to call right yet. The leaderboard updates automatically when each match ends and results sync.

When do points update?

Results sync with official data and scoring recalculates live. If there's a later correction to the result, points are automatically recalculated.

How do streaks work?

Every match you nail in a row, your streak grows. Every miss breaks it. Your current and best all-time streak are recorded on your profile, visible to your group.

Your profile

Account

I forgot my password. What do I do?

On the login screen tap "Forgot your password?". You'll get an email to reset it. If you don't see it, check spam.

Can I change my name or avatar?

Yes, from your profile. The name is what other players see on the leaderboard, so pick something that represents you.

How do I delete my account?

From profile → settings → delete account. Your predictions are erased and you leave all your groups. It's permanent.

Can other players see my email?

No. Others only see your name, your avatar, your predictions (once the match is locked), and your position on the leaderboard.
